Playing For Keeps

(How Humor Can Help Company's Retain- Rather Than Constantly Retrain- Their Workforce)

This laughter filled, highly experiential training illustrates and deepens the connection between humor in the workplace and employee loyalty. It does this by comedically attacking the vicious cycle of burnout, absenteeism and attrition at it's roots- boredom and imbalance. People don't glaze over, call in sick, or jump ship when their daily regimen includes a healthy mix of intriguing challenges and fun-spirited colleagues.

Part stress reducer, part morale builder- and total energizer, PLAYING FOR KEEPS shows participants how to use humor to defuse tedium, decrease tension, and increase spontaneity and camaraderie. Using a wide variety of Improv and Theatre games, this training is playful- with a purpose. High spirits mean low attrition.

It is also purposefully playful. Because it's often only when we lighten up that we also loosen up our imagination- and in the process liven up our energy, creativity and collaborative thinking. All of which are essential to feeling both a sense of belonging to a winnng organization and being a productive team-player.

Through a diverse assortment of low risk, high laughter group challenges, participants experience first hand the payoff for replacing stress, fear, and isolation with relaxed, trusting, cooperation. The happy result is a renewed sense of connection and a conscious determination to make shared laughter a daily rite.
